Candidates Say Little About Water or Wildlife, But Important Decisions Await Voters

This November American voters will not only choose their representatives. Across much of the nation, those casting ballots will also make important decisions about our water and wildlife.

While many candidates in counties, states and nationally still remain mostly quiet about the importance of our environment, a recent Conservation in the West poll shows that concerns about water supplies, wildlife and pollution are fast escalating.  

According to the survey two-thirds of Western voters are worried about the future of the environment and an overwhelming majority say the issue is important in deciding which candidates to support in the 2024 election.  >Read More
