Is This After Video Really From The Same Property?

June 7, 2016

Sandpit Overview Spring 2005 Valencia TrustCould an environmental wasteland left behind by an abandoned sawmill in Idaho’s Lower Coeur d’Alene Watershed actually be transformed into an oasis for wildlife fleeing nearby deadly landscapes?

Could putting a permanent conservation easement on the site and spending more than a decade repairing and restoring the area really renew and create pristine wetlands habitat that welcome Tundra Swans, Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, and a long list of other birds and wildlife?

The answers to all the questions above: absolutely!

What’s more, can you believe the entire project was paid for with private investments and is being considered as a model project by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency?  It was… and it is.
