This month marks the 5th year of Trout Headwaters and The Corps Network’s ongoing support to the Waders in the Water program.
The program first deployed to youth and service Corps beginning in 2014 and has been highlighted in reports from the Department of Labor as well as featured by the media, including this thoughtful piece by Mary Ellen Sprenkel of The Corps Network for the Huffington Post.
The Waders in the Water aquatic restoration training and certification was specifically designed under a public-private partnership between The Corps Network and Trout Headwaters Inc. to enable youth and veterans to enter conservation careers by learning how to help improve the health, productivity, and climate-resiliency of our streams, rivers, and wetlands.
