Trout Headwaters, Inc CEO Michael Sprague has again been named to the selection committee for the National Wetlands Awards in support of the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, DC. Sprague is a founding Board Member of the National Environmental Banking Association also based in Washington. He is a past President of the National Mitigation Banking Association and was a board member there for many years, serving on numerous committees.
The National Wetlands Awards are presented annually to individuals who have excelled in wetlands protection, restoration, and education. The program is administered by the Environmental Law Institute(ELI) and supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, NOAA Fisheries, and the Federal Highway Administration.
