New Draft of Clean Water Act Guidance Promotes Better Wetland Protection and More Regulatory Clarity

On April 27, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a plan under which more of our nation’s critical wetlands will be protected by the Clean Water Act (CWA). However, The Draft Guidance on Identifying Waters Protected by the Clean Water Act is not without political controversy. The draft guidance is open for 60 days of public comment before it is finalized.
