In 2001, Trout Headwaters, Inc (THI) began developing and testing proprietary technologies for stream, wetland and habitat inventory, assessment, design, and monitoring.  Starting in 2006 several of these processes were commercialized as sister company, THI Riverworks secured U.S. Patents for restoration methods, processes, and computer software.  Most recently, in 2015, THI again disrupted existing technologies with EcoBlu Analyst, a big data platform that today is analyzing more than 40 million environmental data points – for government, industry and non-profit users across the U.S.

So while Trout Headwaters continues to offer many of the same services it did when first founded in 1996, the company has constantly changed and improved its process and its products.  This commitment to constantly improving quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness has resulted in now more than 550 successful projects all across the U.S. and many hundreds of satisfied customers who have purchased technology from the firm.
