Yellowstone River Water Sampling Results

The Montana Department of Environmental Quality sent two specialists to sample water in the Yellowstone River and in response to a fish kill a few day in advance of the unprecedented closing of the river for recreation. Five locations in the upper river were sampled and results indicate ‘atypically high’ biological oxygen demand (BOD) and water temperatures were high during sampling. >Download Full Report results-of-sampling-in-the-yellowstone-river9-8-16
